If you have received a counter-offer from the hotel after submitting a room block request, this article will provide guidance on how to handle the counter-offer.

If your room block request has been counter-offered by the hotel, you will be notified by email and you would need to decide if you would like to Accept or Decline the counter-offer. Please follow the steps below to respond to the counter-offer.
Navigating to the Holds/Requests Tab
Log into your EventConnect Account, by going to app.eventconnect.io/login
On your home page, click the My Holds/Requests tab to view the counter-offer.
Reviewing the Counter-Offer
The counter-offer from the hotel will appear under the "My Holds/Requests" tab. This is where you can review the details of the offer the hotel has provided.
Based on whether the counter-offer works for you and your team, you will then be prompted to either Accept or Decline the hotel's offer.
Accepting the counter-offer will automatically direct you to the booking page to begin the reservation process. You can also copy and share the web link with your team's parents!
